

6 Months Pregnant.
I used to be captain of the cheerleading squad. I'm not quite as popular as I used to be... but, I'm getting there. If there's something you should know about me, it's that I'm very hard to deal with at times. I can be really nice to you, then be a total bitch the next moment. It's just how it is. I don't trust easily, so you're best bet is to just not try at all.
Sam nodded his head, and he followed where Quinn was pointing, and he had been kind of right about the head, he couldn’t keep his smile of his face, that was his kid, it was his daughter. This was so really, he was going to be a father in three months, he couldn’t believe it. Sam felt like he was about to start crying.
He used the back of his hand to whip the tears away from his eyes, when he heard that everything was great, and Sam felt a small relief to hear it from the doctor even if Quinn had said that everything was fine so far, it was nice to hear from someone else that things looked good, “yeah,” he said as he nodded his head and he took his lips between his teeth as he smiled, “can I get some for my mom too?” he asked, “Oh, and different sizes,” Sam wasn’t sure where all of this was coming from. Sam looked over at Quinn, “Sorry about that, but I think my mom would want one too,” he looked down a little before he glanced up again, “Everything is as it should be right?” Sam saw the head nod, “Yes, Sam, everything is it should, you have nothing to worry about.” He nodded his head, “That’s awesome, right?” He asked as he turned to Quin.
Quinn watched as Sam looked at the picture. He looked so happy. How was she going to keep him out of Bonnie’s life after seeing him look at the picture like that? She would feel bad about calling him her uncle. Trying not to think about it yet, she turned to the doctor.
She laughed quietly at his specific wants for the picture. His mom would do something like that. “I’ll just take my usual one.” She said, sitting up when all the gel stuff was off of her stomach. She rolled her shirt down and fixed her hair before waiting for the doctor and pictures. “It’s very awesome. Bonnie’s going to be a healthy kid.” Quinn said. She liked to hear the sound of herself saying that. She knew it would be okay. Everything would work out. When the doctor handed her the pictures, she handed Sam his before standing up. “Thank you.” She said to the doctor before putting her picture into her bag. “Do you have any questions, Sam?” The doctor asked, looking at the blond boy.

Sam sat down and waited, for Quinn at first, and when she sat down next to him, Sam began to tap his foot a bit against the floor, he was starting to get a bit nervous about, this he had no idea on what was going to happen, all he wanted was for it to work out for the best for them, and that it wasn’t to awkward. Neither one of them said anything, Sam was afraid that he would say the wrong thing, and the silence between them was awkward, maybe he shouldn’t have gone with her. Sam shook his head quickly, that was not a thought he should have right now, this was the right thing and he wasn’t going to mess it up. He felt how Quinn nudged him, and he got up and followed her, he was walking a couple of steps behind her.
He smiled at the doctor and waved a little, and nodded his head as he sat down on a chair, and he waited to see what was going to happen. Sam noticed how Quinn pulled up her shirt a little and the doctor put some kind of gel on her stomach, Sam looked around, it felt kind of strange, “Is that thing cold?” he asked, and pointed to the gel and to the thing the doctor had in the and Sam scratched the back of his head. Sam looked over that the same screen that the doctor and Quinn was looking at and he had no idea on what it was that he was looking at, “So what am I supposed to see?” he asked, he was pretty sure he could see like a head but that could just be his imagination. “Do you see that pulsing,” the doctor asked and Sam nodded his head, “that shows the heartbeat.” Sam smiled a little, “That’s kind of cool.”
“Yeah, just a little.” Quinn replied, tensing a little when the gel came in contact with her skin. She was used to it by now. Looking over at the screen, she smiled and looked at the doctor as he explained the heartbeat. Well, she was still breathing. That was good.
Quinn examined the screen a little bit. “Can I tell him?” She asked the doctor, getting a nod in reply. Careful not to move too much, she pointed at the screen. “That, right there… That’s her head.” She looked at the doctor and figured she was right, so she pointed to the torso area. “That’s her arm, I believe…” She said, glancing at the doctor again, who nodded. Proud of herself, Quinn dropped her arm and smiled over at Sam. “Doctor hasn’t told me she isn’t healthy, so that’s a good sign, right?” Quinn looked back at the doctor, who was now looking at the clipboard in his hand. “Yes, everything’s all good. Would you like a printout of the sonogram?” The doctor asked and Quinn nodded. “I would, like always. Do you want one?” The girl turned to Sam.

Sam had left his last class for the day, he knew that he was going with Quinn to her doctor’s appointment and he kind of hoped that it would show her that he wanted to be a part of this, but after he had talked to Valerie, he had a bit better understand but he felt left out in this whole thing. He knew that Quinn didn’t want him to be a part of it really. He shook his head as he put down a few of his notebooks and the books for some of his classes. And he made it over to the library he looked around but he couldn’t see Quinn anywhere. He sat down and began to go through his notes, it wasn’t as easy studying alone, he missed his tutor, well more like he missed his girlfriend.
Sam nodded his head when he heard her, “Okay,” he replied and he put down his notebook. Sam didn’t want to make a bad first impression on the doctor and being late would probably make that, if the doctor didn’t have him pegged as a loser already for not being there with Quinn before. The two of them made it over to the car, he had managed to get to borrow his mom’s car today, it had been a discussion about that but when he said that he was taking Quinn to the doctor after school, his parents had agreed to it, “So where are we going?” he asked and looked at Quinn, with a small smile.
He had followed the directions that Quinn gave him, and they had reached the doctor’s office, and he looked around a little, “So…” he said, he didn’t really know what to say, he scratched the back of his head a little, and looked over at Quinn, “maybe you could lead the way?”
Quinn followed him out to his mom’s car and slipped into the passenger’s side before buckling up. “It just a few minutes away. You pull out of the parking lot, make a left, go down the street and pass two streets before you turn to the right, and it’s on the dead end.” She wasn’t sure if he got all that, but she could always help him if he needed it.
Once they were there, they walked inside and made it to where they were supposed to be. “Wait here.” The girl said, making her way to counter. “Quinn Fabray.” She told the lady, getting a nod in return. Walking back over to Sam, she sat down in one of the chairs. “She said it’ll be a couple minutes before we can go in.”
Sure, the few minutes before she was called were a little awkward and silent, but it didn’t take long. When she heard her name, she stood up and nudged Sam to come with her. Quinn walked back with the doctor, making small talk about how she was feeling and everything like that. “Oh, and this is Sam. He’s the baby’s real father.” She motioned towards Sam before walking into the room she went to last time. Next was the part she hated. Ultrasounds made her all nervous and stuff, but it always cheered her up when she saw the sonogram.

Once the final bell rang for school, Quinn stood up from her Chemistry class and walked out of the room. She was nervous to have Sam come along with her, but she was also hoping that it would make him happy for a while. Stopping at her locker, she crammed a few notebooks and a text book into her bag and closed the small door before starting down the hall. The library wasn’t too far from where her locker was, so that was good. And, once she got there, Sam was already waiting. The two greeted each other before sitting down and studying for a good amount of time.
Quinn studied for her Chemistry test that was on Monday, and she knew that she would need all the help she could get. Luckily, Santana was going to help her tomorrow. There was no way she’d remember all of what she read today after her appointment. All the good news always put her in such a great mood. It was weird, but nice at the same time.
Glancing at the clock, she closed her book and slipped it into her bag. “We should probably get going. Wouldn’t want to be late for the appointment. They had about fifteen minutes to get there, but it would only take five from where they were. But, she always liked to be earlier. Being on time or late always made her a little nervous or upset. It’s probably because Coach Sylvester always brainwashed them into thinking that being on time or late was going to cost them their spot on the team, and Quinn never wanted to lose her spot. But, she did anyways.
